Dance and Cheer studio Rutherford

SBDS is Maitland and Rutherford's Largest Dance and Cheer Centre. We guide students both artistically and professionally from our tiniest toddlers enrolled in our preschool program, recreational students, through to pre-professional students completing exam levels and learning performance through competitions.

We offer a large range of styles, particularly specialising in Ballet, Tap, Cheer, Acro and Tumble

We run multiple programs ranging from toddler to adult, from ballet and tap to tumble and cheer and everything in between.

Students of all abilities are accepted and encouraged to pursue there love of performance to the level they desire.

This is our passion and it is our mission to guide each student along their own path.

Our Purpose

To provide dancers of all ages an encouraging and supportive family environment where they can happily grow and excel in their performance education. We strive to deliver the highest quality training whilst nurturing and valuing each students unique gift of talent and creativity. We wish to guide our students to achieve their fullest potential, to support them as they grow artistically and academically, developing them into well-rounded, confident individuals.

SBDS has a very friendly, kind, family-like culture. The teachers are amazing with the pre-school students. Their patience, dedication and pride is second to none. You only have to watch all the kids dance to see this. They also have student teachers who will often help out with the younger kids.
